Leadership Activities

WATAP engages in leadership activities that include training, technical assistance, public awareness, and coordination and collaboration with public and private organizations.

Training and technical assistance activities include general awareness, skills-development training, use and application training, and assessment and implementation training.

Public awareness activities include fostering communication between providers and users, dissemination of information and resources to targeted individuals, and the maintenance of a statewide information and referral system.

Coordination and collaboration activities include coordination with entities responsible for policies, procedures, or funding for AT devices and services.

WATAP also produces publications on assistive technology topics.
